Description
Mangatta is a hotel and beach club out in the Rosario Islands, reached by sport boat from the private Marina Todomar in Bocagrande. Your day pass hands you the property: a bed, a sofa or a lounger, the restaurant, the bar, and the water in front of all of it.
Boats leave in the morning and take a scenic line through the archipelago on the way out. Mid-morning there is a snorkelling trip to a sunken light aircraft resting in shallow water nearby — the wreck locals tie to the Pablo Escobar story. Back at the club you sit down to an à la carte lunch with eight dishes to choose from, and there is a DJ every day, freshwater showers, towels, and kayaks, paddle boards and bicycles to use as the mood takes you. Boats return to Cartagena around 3:00 PM.
Two tiers are available. Standard runs a 2×1 bar all day plus the beer bucket deal; VIP replaces both with an open bar on four cocktails and national beer all day, and adds snorkel masks for use around the club.

What is the snorkelling stop?
A trip out to a sunken light aircraft lying in shallow water near the club, run between roughly 10:30 and 11:00 AM. It is the wreck locally associated with the Pablo Escobar story.
What do I pay on the day?
The Parques Nacionales tax, and compulsory insurance at $25,000 COP per person which must be paid in cash. Entry to the Oceanario is not included either.
How do the two tiers differ?
At the bar. Standard is 2×1 all day on Cuba libre, margarita and mojito, plus a beer bucket where the sixth is free. VIP is an open bar on margarita, mojito, tinto de verano and Cuba libre with national beer (Águila) all day, and adds snorkel masks for use around the club.
Are children admitted?
Yes — from 4 years old children pay the standard rate.
