Hotel Isla del Encanto has an island of its own in the Barú archipelago, about an hour from Cartagena. Because the island belongs to the hotel, so does the beach — no day boats emptying onto it, no vendors working the sand, no shared strip of public shoreline.
Rather than a single pass there are four. The two Premium tiers are the same day out and differ only in how you travel: Terrestre goes overland, Marítimo crosses by boat. Both bring a welcome drink, a buffet lunch and the full beach club — private beach, standard loungers, the day-pass pool and the water toys. Black adds an open bar on national spirits. Gold is the VIP tier: a VIP welcome drink, à la carte lunch with wine, an unlimited open bar covering national and imported spirits, a Balinese day bed, and the guest pool and jacuzzi rather than the day-pass pool.

What time do boats leave, and how strict is it?
Check in at Muelle de la Bodeguita at 7:00 AM; boats cast off at 8:00 AM and wait ten minutes at most. Coming back, boats leave the island at 2:30 PM with a maximum fifteen-minute wait.
Which tier should I pick?
Premium Terrestre if someone would rather not be on a boat, Premium Marítimo for the same day by sea, Black if you want an open bar on national spirits, and Gold if you want à la carte lunch with wine, unlimited national and imported spirits, a Balinese day bed and the guest pool and jacuzzi.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 72 hours before the date. Inside 72 hours, or a no-show, forfeits the full amount. Payment is taken 100% in advance.
Are towels provided, and can I lock things away?
Towels are not included but can be hired on the island. There are no lockers or safes, so leave anything valuable behind.
Can I bring a dog?
Small breeds up to 8 kg, in a carrier and on a lead, for an additional $70,000 COP — arranged in advance.
